Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you and DEXY GAMES LTD ("we", "us"). By downloading or playing Captain's Haul, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service & Licensing

DEXY GAMES LTD grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Captain's Haul mobile application for personal, non-commercial entertainment. We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the game at any time.

2. Account & Player ID

Captain's Haul utilizes a unique Player ID generated on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. We are not liable for any loss of progress or virtual items resulting from app deletion or device loss, except where required by law.

3. Virtual Items (Doubloons)

No Monetary Value: Doubloons are virtual items for use only within Captain's Haul. They have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Non-Transferable: You may not sell, trade, or transfer Doubloons to other players or outside of the app.

4. Payments & Refund Policy

All purchases are processed through the Google Play Store. You must be 18 or older to make a purchase, or have parental permission.

4.3 Statutory Right to Cancel (UK Consumers): By purchasing and instantly accessing Doubloons, you provide express consent for the supply of digital content to begin immediately. You acknowledge that your 14-day statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations is waived once the content is added to your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use cheats, automation software (bots), or hacks.
Modify or reverse-engineer any part of the game files.
Use the "Hall of Champions" display name feature to post offensive or illegal content.

6. Community Guidelines

Community Conduct: By joining the Dexy Games Discord server, you agree to abide by our Community Rules. We reserve the right to remove any user from our community spaces who engages in harassment, sharing of illegal content, or behavior that violates our professional standards.

7. User-generated Content

Screenshots and Sharing: You are welcome to share screenshots of Captain's Haul for personal, non-commercial use. However, you are solely responsible for the content you share and the platforms you choose to share it on. Dexy Games Ltd is not liable for any disputes arising from your use of third-party sharing tools.

8. Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy. To exercise your rights to access or delete your account data, please visit our Data Request Page.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DEXY GAMES LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
